Get Involved
When you look at the variety of projects that the RC&D is involved in, you can see that they benefit the entire community. By supporting the RC&D, you are helping your own community - your natural environment, your neighbors, and your friends.
Volunteers and Community The success of RC&D programs and projects depends on the help of volunteers and the community. Volunteers assist with most of our activities and provide vital links to partner organizations and community groups. They are also a continual source of new ideas, energy and fresh perspectives. We rely on our communities for the direction of our projects. We are always listening, and with input and participation from local communities we are able to focus on the concerns and problems that are important to them.
Support the Southwest Badger RC&D Many of our projects, such as the Belmont-Platteville Trail, the Kickapoo Valley Trail, Village of Viola Urban Forestry, Urban Storm Water Alternatives, and the quarterly newsletter are currently being funded through the RC&D's general operating funds. We need help from caring community residents like yourself to be able to continue these programs year after year.
The RC&D accepts monetary donations from individuals and businesses. Southwest Badger RC&D is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.
You can make a donation to the RC&D by check or money order. Please mail your contribution to:
